I am an ordained Pastor with 15 years experience in full-time ministry, and currently lead a church in East London. I am in full agreement with the Evangelical Alliance Basis of Faith.

Ministry is incredible - I am blessed to have the opportunity to teach God’s Word each week and to come alongside people in the best and worst moments of life. I enjoy the privilege and challenge of leading staff and volunteers to see the church realise its vision and impact its community. But I also know from experience that ministry is tough - especially in small/medium-sized churches, so I set up DS Ministry Services as a means to provide encouragement and practical support to other churches and leaders.

I’m currently studying for an MBA, with a focus on applying the best insights and research from the business world to the local church. I’m passionate about helping churches and leaders think differently about culture, strategy, finance, HR. These things have a drastic impact on the day-to-day functioning of churches, but are often not taught when church leaders are in training!

More recently, I have built up a team of skilled professionals around the world, who are well equipped to support churches and leaders with day-to-day admin tasks. Starting in my own ministry, then observing further afield, I saw there was a huge need for creative solutions to the challenging reality of church leadership in this ever-changing context. Much of the day-to-day admin in church life can be handled online/remotely, so I developed the means for churches and leaders to make use of virtual assistants. This is cost-effective, entirely flexible and easily scalable to meet changing needs.
